The Random Snaps - Part 1

As I have always been a lover of the app 'Hipstamatic' on my iPhone, I tend to take thousands of photo's with it every year - literally.
I thought I'd begin a new segment on my blog titled 'The Random Snaps' - which will generally be posts of random photo's I have taken and acquired using this app over the years - some of my favourite photo's and memories have been captured with this handy and original application. It makes you feel like you're using a film camera - you can change the lenses, flashes and films, mix n' match, and see what comes out. It's that simple.
So, here's part one of this new project of mine - I hope you enjoy!
(there'll be around 20 photos per post)

I have always really enjoyed taking photo's with disposables as they are fun, simple and, if you pick the right brand, they can be a reliable 35mm camera. I am an avid film photographer, and my favourite disposable to use is the Kodak FunFlash disposable camera which comes with 27+12 exposures. It's got a good flash, is very reliable and the photo's usually come out great! I also use Snappy Snaps to develop my photos as they're quick and really friendly!
Disposables are also a really easy and fun way to take photos at festivals, carnivals and other fun events.

Get snapping!

The Butterflies

I found these beautiful printed butterflies on the wall of the rail-tracks at Turnham Green Station. I'm not sure if they still exist, but they were fun to take some snaps of!
Next time you're at Turnham Green station, cross the road and see if these butterflies are still on the green.
