I don't really know why I was half smiling half laughing here...
So, I really love navy blue. Any blue hue, usually, but navy is by far one of my favourite colours. I tend to lean more towards it than black even, as I feel it compliments me better.
These culottes are sort-of the star piece in this outfit. I bought theme a while back in Whistles in the sale for 50% off, little did I know that they would continue to be in the sale and drop down to the price of £15 - which is an absolute BARGAIN for Whistles! (If you like them, I suggest you go find them now while you can). They are super comfy and floaty, and fall at the perfect culotte length for me (I am a measly 5'2 so for anyone taller, they'd be quite a bit shorter). They have a wonderful casual structure to them, and can be worn on the waist or on the hips (I went for hips today). I paired them with this navy bamboo-cashmere jumper from Nicole Farhi which I bought in a Warehouse discount sale for £30 reduced from £150 (how fab?), it's got such a gorgeous thin texture, but it still manages to keep me very warm, especially during this particularly chilly part of the year. To top it all off, I added this navy coat that I've had for years from Joules. I think my navy-blue obsession has reached it's boiling point...
