A Mothers Day Brunch

 Eggs Benedict

 Eggs Royale

Top - Glamorous at Topshop (online sale)

To honour my wonderful Mummy on Sunday the 6th of March, I took her out for a brunch meal at Bill's.
Bill's has such a great brunch menu - relatively affordable, big portions, and full of flavour. I usually steer clear of eggs when I'm out, as I'm not a huge fan myself, and order the pancakes (they are phenomenal), but this time, I decided to push myself a little bit and go for the Eggs Benedict. I had never tried poached eggs before, and this felt like the perfect time to, after my Mum praised them the last time we went to Bill's. Not only were they gorgeous looking, but they were gorgeous tasting too! I don't know why I'd never tried poached eggs before, as I love a good runny yolk but am not a fan of greasy egg white, and the poached egg is perfect for that. My Mum commented that the Eggs Royale were fab too!

We had a lovely mothering Sunday together, and I hope all of you lovely Mother's out there did too!

p.s. apologies for the lack of blog posts the last two weeks - I had laryngitis for two weeks and then had a menace of a week last week. I'll be back to regular posting now! x
