It was one of those days where the weather was a little bit unpredictable - it wasn't cold, but it was windy enough that a jumper was in order. Enter, the classic cream knit! I'd been looking for a cream jumper for a long time, and had been eyeing up the American Apparel fisherman's knit for ages, but as soon as I found this one lurking in Topshop, I couldn't say no. The high neck gives it more of a retro quality, which I truly admire, and it adds that extra bit of interest to a classic everyday piece.
On this occasion, I teamed it with my dark blue girlfriend jeans (that Topshop has now rebranded as the straight leg, although I find that they aren't exactly the same), a leather jacket, and my black brothel creepers, which were my favourite shoes when I was in school. They're definitely battered, but loved all the same, and are so comfortable that I could never throw them out.
It was a little bit 70's, a little bit rocker, and a whole lot of classic.
