Although the weather's been much more Springy as of late, today was a bit chillier than normal, so I pulled out my Whistles Teddy Coat for a day in Knightsbridge with my Mum while running a few errands. This is by far my most unusual style of coat - the slightly oval, 'teddy' shape and fuzzy material paired with this gorgeous, aubergine colour makes it stand out. It's definitely not my most flattering piece, but when styled well, it can give any outfit a slouchy but put-together vibe - and because of the length, it keeps you looking relatively streamlined.

I paired the coat with a simple grey shirt from Topshop, my new favourite straight leg jeans and my patent leather boots, for some extra shine and a bit of added height. I then paid more attention to the details - the vintage Givenchy scarf for a retro quality, and my new Ray Ban round sunglasses - they just give such an effortlessly cool and classic look to any outfit.

I spent the day running errands in Knightsbridge and then popped into Harvey Nichols for lunch with my Mum in the Harvey Nichols cafe - I got the chicken with 'pomme puree' and mushrooms, and it was excellent.
